SUMMARY:Canada Day Celebrations
DESCRIPTION:The Town of Radisson is the place to be on July 1st to celebrate Canada Day in style!  The year\, 2025\, marks a decade of festivities for Radisson\, hosted by the Canada Day Committee at the curling rink and ball diamonds. \nThe Committee is small\, but mighty (currently there are just seven dedicated individuals)\, but they have big plans for the upcoming holiday party marking the confederation of our vast country 158 years ago.  There is no charge for admission!  The event will begin at 2 PM with an array of activities that will be “fun for all ages.”  There are plans for a beer garden\, musical entertainment\, face painting and games for the kiddies\, a concession stand\, and a raffle table.  There will also be reptiles and rabbits on display!  Various vendors will also be selling their wares inside the curling rink throughout the day. \nThe formal opening ceremonies will be held at 6 PM with a Canada Day cake served to those in attendance.  Weather permitting\, the evening will conclude with a fireworks display. \nIf you are interested in joining the Canada Day committee\, or volunteering to make this event possible\, please contact Jennifer at (306) 827-2134.  Happy Canada Day!
