Municipal Incentives
The Town of Radisson has implemented a Tax Incentives and Penalties Bylaw, which outlines property tax incentives designed to encourage business development. While specific details are provided in the bylaw, such incentives typically aim to support new constructions, expansions, or improvements that contribute to the town’s economic growth.
These incentives are designed to:

Motion of Council Multi-Unit Housing Incentives
397/25 Scott Currie TO set the per Multi-unit housing incentive rate at $7500.00 per unit. Carried
Property Tax Discounts
400/25 Scott Currie TO set the discount rate for property taxes at 2% until August 31st, 2025 and 1% for the month of September. Carried
Provincial Incentives
The Government of Saskatchewan offers numerous programs to foster entrepreneurship and business growth:
- Saskatchewan Young Entrepreneurs Bursary: Launched in May 2025, this program provides bursaries of $5,000 to up to 57 young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 who have been operating for 10 years or less. The initiative aims to support business sustainability and growth across the province.
- Saskatchewan Technology Start-up Incentive: Designed to encourage investment in the province’s technology sector, this incentive offers tax credits to investors who provide capital to eligible technology start-ups.
- Saskatchewan Commercial Innovation Incentive (SCII): This program offers eligible corporations a reduction of the provincial Corporate Income Tax Rate to six percent for 10 or 15 years, promoting the commercialization of innovative products and services.
- Manufacturing and Processing Tax Incentives: These incentives are available to firms in the manufacturing and processing industry, providing tax credits to encourage investment and expansion within the sector.
