Radisson is Growing — We Need Housing Now
The Town of Radisson is poised to experience substantial growth, driven by major industrial developments from Global Herbal Aid Inc., Nationswest Development Corporation, and Rhobos Mines and Minerals. These projects are expected to create many jobs over the next five years.
To support this growth, Radisson needs to add new housing units soon. However, a development moratorium is in place due to our lagoon system reaching capacity. Upgrades to our lagoon and water treatment system are urgently needed to enable new housing and meet regulatory standards.
This Housing Needs Assessment supports our application to the CMHC Housing Accelerator Fund and includes an Action Plan for sustainable growth.
