CoVid-19 Policy

Effective July 11, 2021, The Council of the Town of Radisson hereby implements the following policy with regards to maintaining it’s employees, Council Members’, and the public’s safety now that the CoVid19 restrictions have been lifted in their entirety:

  1. Social Distancing will continue to be maintained within municipal buildings
  2. When unable to Social Distance between persons, a distance of a minimum of 2 metres, masks are required to be worn.
  3. When a Council Meeting is in session and a distance of 2 metres cannot be maintained:

a) Council Members and the Administrator may remove their masks when speaking;
b) Person(s) appearing to speak with Council may remove their masks when speaking as long as they are standing/sitting in the designated area of the Council Chambers;
c) Persons wishing to attend the Council meeting must remain in the foyer area and maintain the required social distancing of a minimum of 2 metres between each member of the Public.

Pool Closure for Summer of 2021

The Radisson Swimming Pool will be closed for the summer of 2021.

With careful consideration, The Radisson Recreation Association has made the decision to close the Radisson Swimming Pool for the 2021 season. Due to many challenges and constraints presented by the Covid19 pandemic,we felt this was the best decision. We understand this is disappointing news for our patrons and our community, and we apologize for this inconvenience. Please know we are continuing to move forward and stay focused on finishing improvements and upgrades to both our pool and ball facilities, fundraising and staff recruitment. Our community is very important to us and our facilities,and we thank you for your understanding during these challenging times. (Do Not Drink Notice – April 9th)

This Notice applies to all residents and users of the Town of Radisson and is effective: April 9, 2021 at 10:30am.

This Do Not Drink Notice is issued due to the water containing very high levels of chlorine and elevated manganese.

A communication(electronic) issue with the raw water supply has resulted in an overfeed of sodium hypochlorite and potassium permanganateto the drinking water supplied by the Town of Radisson.

The Water Security Agency and Town of Radisson are advising all consumers to NOT USE THE TAP WATER FOR DRINKING AND COOKING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
